ABOUT BIG RIVER THEATRE

Brockville Theatre Camp is a thriving performing arts camp dedicated to inspiring and nurturing the next generation with the love of theatre. With a passion for theatre and a commitment to excellence, we provide a dynamic and supportive environment for young performers to explore their creativity and build their confidence on and off the stage.
Ages 6-8 Program:
Our caring instructors provide gentle guidance, ensuring each child feels valued and included, allowing them to blossom in a supportive and nurturing environment.
At this tender age, the focus is on building confidence, enhancing social skills, and igniting their imaginations.
We understand the importance of fostering a love for the arts at an early age. Through interactive games, imaginative play, and age-appropriate activities, our young campers embark on an enjoyable journey of self-discovery and theatrical exploration. We create a fun and engaging atmosphere where campers feel encouraged to embrace their individuality, take creative risks, and collaborate with their peers.
Ages 9-14 Program:
For our campers aged 9 to 14, we offer an enriching and comprehensive program that dives deeper into the world of theatre. During these transformative years, we understand the significance of encouraging artistic expression and fostering a sense of belonging among peers who share similar interests.
Through a series of workshops, rehearsals, and group activities, campers will develop their acting abilities, communication skills, and creativity while gaining a deeper appreciation for the power of storytelling. Our instructors provide constructive feedback and individual attention, empowering each camper to reach their full potential and explore the various facets of theatre.
Grand Finale Showcase:
As the climax of an unforgettable camp experience, both age groups will come together to showcase their talents in an exhilarating theatrical production. Family, friends, and the community will gather to witness the magic our campers create on stage, and we guarantee memories that will be cherished for a lifetime.
